About Your Wedding License
There are two types of Marriage licenses:
1.A public license - which exactly what it says, it is public record
· This includes your address, name and telephone number
· Your mothers maiden name and your fathers name, for both the Bride and Groom !
All information is public record. This License is available at the County Clerks office only. and it maybe used anywhere in the state of California.
2.A Confidential License - Which is exactly what it says, it is not public record. It is private. Nobody else will know unless you tell them or show them your license. This license is also available for the same price at the County Clerks office.
This license may only be used in Los Angeles County !
As a Specialized Agent of the County of Los Angeles I am certified to issue Confidential Licenses and Confidential Licenses are all that I will issue.

To qualify for a confidential Wedding license, the Bride and Groom must be living at the same address.
·This applies to both County Clerk issued licenses and the License that I issue.
·Your Drivers license is not used to verify your place of residence, it is only used to verify your legal identity.
·Each couple is required to swear that the information that they have provided is true and accurate.
·Each couple must sign the license prior to the ceremony.
If traveling from out of state, the same rules apply ! Pretty simple !
